We are looking for a motivated Business Development Intern to assist our business development team in identifying opportunities, generating leads, and supporting sales efforts. This internship is ideal for students who are currently pursuing a degree and are looking to gain hands-on experience in business development, sales, and marketing in the technology consulting industry. You will work closely with senior team members, gain exposure to real-world business challenges, and learn the skills necessary for a career in business development.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead Generation & Prospecting: Assist in identifying potential clients, researching target markets, and qualifying leads.
· Market Research: Conduct research to gather insights into industry trends, competitor activities, and potential customer needs to support strategic decision-making.
· Sales Support: Help prepare presentations, proposals, and other sales materials that effectively communicate our value proposition.
· CRM Management: Maintain and update CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track leads, contacts, and client interactions.
· Outreach Activities: Support outreach initiatives through email, phone calls, and other digital channels to engage with potential clients.
· Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with company offerings and market positioning.
· Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the business development team, including scheduling meetings, coordinating follow-ups, and managing documentation.
Requirements:
· Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
· Strong interest in business development, sales, and the technology industry.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information effectively.
· Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus but not required.
Good to Have:
· Previous internship experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
· Understanding of the technology or software consulting industry.
· Knowledge of social media marketing and digital outreach techniques.
